What are the best ways to get website visitors to return to your site? List Yours... Mine: Have them join you on twitter and facebook to keep them updated on your products and services. Offer other products/services they maybe interested in later.
Provide the user with quality content that will make them want to bookmark your site. Provide a newsletter sign-up, if they are interested in your site they will sign up.
Create high quality content that comes in parts. A video tutorial or article will work. Deliver one part per week. If you have 4 parts, you can be sure people will keep coming back for a month at least. Next project, do it in parts again.
Give them a reason to return to your website. By offering them something that no one else can or has will make anyone come back. I sometimes like to offer incentives to people.
I'm atually glad someone made a post on this I've been trying to find a good wordpress newsletter plug-in for this reason. I've also been trying to promote my Facebook and Twitter accounts and I haven't had much luck so far.
Everything mentioned above. You could also Award points to repeat customers that they can redeem for something of value after so many points are earned. Contests and giveaways still work well also. And of course new and updated content that will make people want to come back for more. You could also do weekly seminars or online courses that will have value for your guests
