ICICI Bank - foreign currency Cheque

yes it takes time, but not 45 days or 50 days

 

not really there are 2 types of option as asked by sbi officials when i deposited i sbi they asked 2 types of clearance ( i forgot those options because i just said whatever option just make sure to take less fee )

in SBM it took around 45 days to me last time with adbrite

 

yes SBI takes 45 days, even I have seen that..now SBI takes max 31 days as far from 1 year i have notice

ICICI takes dot 23 days with sunday and saturday counted.. this time its happen worse.. im doing this with ICICI from 1 year

 

Still The check is not cleared. I went to payment History the check says ISSUED...but not Cleared

I think ICICI Staff took the check at his home and kept it with him

OR He must have been guilty

OR he has fuc*ed my check


NOW WHAT MUST I DO.. WAIT FOR THE CHECK EXPIRY DATE OR JUST KILL THOSE STAFF MEMBERS...IM ANGRY LIKE HELL

 

have u contacted the staff once ?

well dont go and kill right now give them few days time

btw, how much does ICICI charge for clearing foreign currency checks?

(I have an account with ICICI, but I deposit my dollar checks with Bank of India).

 

Usually HDFC is more faster in USD cheques,usually in 7 days only

 

foreign currency checks take 25-45 days. bcoz all indian bank send those checks to issing bank for clearing.
clearing fee is arounf Rs. 250.

 

Why dont you go for bank deposit itself? I get funds within 2-3 days itself.

 

It takes at least 25-30 days for foreign bank cheque clearance. Be patient!

 

I Went on January 15 2010 to the bank and told the staff the same problem... they took carbon copy ( Xerox) of the paying slip and said we will look on to it. The payment is not cleared till today.. When its gets cleared it will take more 10 days to reach to the ICICI bank...

Bank of India charges Foreign Checks when you deposit at the bank after 1 week they charge....so its good by their end

No it takes 21-25 days

Impossible within 2-3 days in INDIA

 

Im waiting from 50 days Dude.... And when I went to payment history the check is still in status of ISSUED.. the check after that I deposited in ICICI other branch is cleared.... im shocked

 

Don't go to branch. Send the Fax to their customer head and ask for written confirmation. Also ask them about their policy of clearing foriegn checks time limits. I'm sure you'll get response.

 

I did that before not faxing but calling customer care.. They cant help

Ill have to visit the branch show him the pistol and ask him what did you do with my check

 

Just goto Bank branch & ask them about it.......... But in HDFC bank.....it take 45-50 day to get money into account.

I checked my Affiliate payment history its is not cleared ....its showing ISSUED...when its cleared by Affiliates side... then it will take another 10-15 days to deposit the amount to the back.......

 

Calling customer care don't solve your problem, they only solve routine issues or pass on the information to concerned department. But in your case if you want attention either fax to their head office with heading of concerned official with reference to the docket no. issued by the customer care and tell them i'll go to media, if I don't get response within 48 hours. In the end, ofcourse if the amount is big and worth the hassle, see your options. Best of LUck!!

 

Its more than 50 days now, i think you should ask your affiliate company to cancel the cheque and send u wire or issue a new check.
