Recently I've been contacted by 4 advertisers wanting to advertise on my site. Instead of waiting for them to come to me, I would like to find out how I can go find them. Are there websites where I can showcase my site for advertisers to buy the ad spaces? Thanks in advance.

actually, I have AdSense but it's not paying much for me - maybe I need some tweaking. the Advertisers on my site now are online poker sites and they pay much higher per ad than AdSense.
No, there are no sites that we go to to look. We look on our own, or use ad networks. I would suggest going to similar sites as your own to contact their advertisers. Many are always looking for more sites to advertise on. Another way is to look at the search engine ads. Google Adwords, for example. Contact them to see if they would like to advertise on your site also. Offer them more space, and maybe a picture to sweeten the deal. We are easy to find.

Adsense sucks big time for the gaming industry until you get into the hardware end of things. I've noticed that a lot of people look at the Alexa score for some reason so getting that up/down will help attract attention for some marketers. Going door to door or site to site can work also for finding clients. You may want to look at some banner/ad management software that lets people bid on placements sort of like adwords. This way people can choose how much to budget. There are several free scripts out there for this. Good luck!
