Hi Currently I am working on link building for my site. I found some site having noarchive in meta tag. will this allow any link juice to transfer to my site? I have done some reading on it but still not clear that I should exchange link with them or just ignore these kind of sites.
They are probably unaware of this, but maybe they are allowing everyone but Google into the site? My guess though is that they dont know they have that set. If they site has a .htaccess they could be allowing / disallowing bots there too. You don't really need the robots tag, as the 'default' for spiders is to crawl and index pages regardless unless they are disallowed. Some bots still pay attention to those tags though so it's recommended that you still include them between head and /head.
I have also done some reading on it and found that my link will be available to spider. I am still not getting the exact reason for using noarchive meta tag on a linkpage. Could you be able to explain webservice4india?
