Be careful with link exchange, I've heard of a number of sites getting penalized for poor exchanges.

Are your links mostly coming from links in your niche?

Make sure you are getting traffic from some of your links - I recommend facebook and twitter for this. Contribute (don't sell!), gain trust, then contribute with your own link every once in a while so you get some relevant traffic with a low bounce rate.

    Hope this helps!

Easier said then done, but getting some quality, high PR links will make a world of difference. Fresh, relevant content will help as well. Start an onsite blog to keep your content fresh in the eyes of the search engines.

    Hello,

Do some link building for your web site. Make relevant and high pr links (add your link on those website which have more pr then yours) for your web site. When next Google update occur and your backlink link increase, The PR automatically flow to your web site.

Most of the links you describe are worthless for PR. That's because dir listings and article pages are new pages with no PR. It doesn't matter what the home page PR is; unless your link is from the home page, it will have little to no effect on PR. In fact, as witnessed by your 0 score, you may have linked from a "bad neighborhood" and actually lost your PR.

The advice you should be getting is to forget about PR. It isn't important unless you want to sell links, which is a dicey game. Instead, focus on SERPs and build links around relevant, high-quality sites with your target keywords. If successful, you will likely see PR rise at the same time that your SERPs do.

amanamission has a point. Page rank without SERPs has no meaning. But they do go hand in hand. Somewhat. Although, high page rank will assist in getting better ranking for your keywords, it isn't the end all solution. Well developed titles, description, content, and links. And then some more links. Quality links, form real websites. Add all of those together and you will have a great web site.

High quality content and high PR back links will help you a lot. Remember one thing: content is the king. My two websites now got PR 3, and PR 2 in one mouth.

    Hmmm

Looks like you've fallen victim to DP

My software suggests your site has been filtered or even penalised by Google. If you remove the Google filtering, it should be PR 3~4, but since it's PR 0, that's a sign to me that you've been naughty.

I'd start again, or alternatively go through all the links you've created with blackhat and start removing them. Buying/adding more links will be a waste of time.

Maybe the links are just not good quality enough. Or wait.

PR takes time. Wait till the next update and keep working. Eventually you will see the results.
