Actually, it's more blackhat SEO, but greyhat webmasters don't risk as much as blackhat SEO webmasters. They try to keep a good balance between allowed and forbidden things

so friends there is some says it's advance black hat seo and some says its mix of white and black hat, so i can't understand what is the gray hat seo. so pls clear it.
Yes, I too think the same .. Gray hat is a hybrid name which has been evolved by the combination of both white hat and black hat.
Hearing this term now only - going to Google is and study something about that. Grey hat SEO ??? - Guess, there is three only (White, Black and now Grey). Anything else ??

if webmaster do white hat seo work + little black hat seo but black hat seo work webmaster need to do hidden from google.
Gray hat techniques are those techniques that are neither white nor black hat techniques, as they can be argued either ways. Or techniques that appear as black hat to search engines but appear as white hat to webmasters, and webmasters are arguing them out with the search engines. Also, search engines are against sale/purchase of links, but people subscribe to online magazines for the purpose of getting a back link. Therefore, techniques that cannot be put into black hat category or white hat category, are put into gray hat category.
it is seo that is not ethical but not completely spamming. Most of it wont get you blacklisted but basically the same thing as blackhat just not as bad.
