Hi friends, My bluehost account got suspended due to copyright violation. They are not re-activating it and asked to go for new host. Please suggest which hosting will be good and cheap to transfer my websites. Thanks for your help in advance. -Abhi.
Park your domain with Google, Sedo or other parking service to make some money in the time you take to bring the site back up. Were you hosting movie files on the server for streaming?
There are 100s of websites like this man. I don't know how they are surviving. Can someone suggest me how to proceed?
I think the best choice for you may be a dedicated server. Then you can manage it yourself. But you should know that it's not very easy for you to manage a server by yourself and also it's a little expensive if you don't have that budget.
that different case. you cant use bluehost because they are US based and they never allow you to host mp3s films etc in their hosting. you need to find some offshore host
don't upload your files on us server ... try use uploading sites mediafire & rapid-share and put your links in your blog or forum hosted on non us server
I tried alot of different hosting companies however I never had one as great as GoDaddy. It is a little different than others because they do not use cPanel but rather their own interface but it is very easy to use, reliable, fast, cheap, and makes adding additions on such as traffic blazer, other domain names, and fantastico scripts a breeze.
Wake up guys! Godaddy and Dreamhost are US based and don't allow such things. My friend just went for AltusHost and they allow such things since they have severs offshore.
I am setting up a quality host in a few days..its too bad they went this direction, even though it is a TOS violation, I would have given you the opportunity to take action before taking drastic action on your account. It seems like 1 strike, and your out...they could have given you the opportunity to remove the content.
You are correct. Actually I also asked them to give a chance to delete the content. But no second chance.
