YPN rates have dropped and Adsense's payout seems to have increased. Plus Adsense's CTR is vastly superior due to the text ads actually are similar to your pages content.
Wentworth , what are the rates on what keywords has fallen I will check with mines to see if there is any change..
yeah but in didn't effect me lot . In last months analysis I saw only 2.8 decrease in the rates , of my keywords.Related to software
Usually on health related sites, Adsense is king. On the tech/social stuff usually Y! At least that's the latest trend.
On one of my sites, Adsense pays an average of .04-cents. YPN pays over .40-cents. Even with the low CTR, I still make three times as much with YPN than Adsense. I wish Adsense would pay more. If they'll just pay .10-.15-cents, I would be making a killing with the CTR.
Kinda hard for it to get any worst than 3-4 cents a click, but I suppose anything can happen with Adsense...
My average AdSense click is now 3 cents-15 cents. Made $10-$20 a day months back. YPN average click pays 9 cents-25 cents. Made $20-$40 a day months back (some days $60.00) Now struggling for $5.00 days All of August was poor then I saw a HUGE traffic plummet and earnings drop on Aug 17 for some reason, no rebound at all yet
much higher rpc (.70+) with ypn than i ever got with adsense - i have been with ypn since january. although prior to august (other than 8/1 - 8/3 which were my highest earning days ever), i was doing over $1 per click with yahoo. if you use ad targeting, and also ad blocking (to remove vonage other run of network non relevant ads) you can make the targeting a little better if your website content is in a category where there is advertisers. also ypn's cusotmer service and communication is 1st rate. adsenses support was the worst. yahoo emails you back with 24hrs and they also provide a toll free # to call! i would stick it out with yahoo and not jump ship - particularly on after 1 bad summer vacation month. best of luck to you all
I have to say, no matter what I put YPN on, it makes double what Adsense does, regardless of topic. The high CPC simply makes up for the low CTR in every case.
I make alot more from YPN on my arcade site then adsense. I was making $10 a day with adsense, and with YPN I make $60-$100 a day. I was making more with adsense on my myspace resource site then with YPN. Guess it ALL depends on what type of site you are running.
