Thanks for reminding me about technorati. I am currently re-submitting my blog through their new blog claiming process. I will be observing the results and respond to this question after several weeks. For me, technorati usually helps. (but i think i have some questions in mind about its effects on duplicate contents issues).
Appreciate your reply! I actually submitted my claim to Technorati months ago, and today I received a message that it's finally complete. So hopefully it's going to help my blog get finally indexed normally - I'm currently experiencing some Google indexing problems. Regarding your claim re-submition, it should now be a faster procedure than during the last couple of months. The Technorati guys are currently working through the backlog of claims but they promise to complete them all within several weeks.
I think that should help you alot. Technorati has an alexa rank with the 0-1000 range so it should help you alot specially when you get a nice authority.
Yes, indeed. Technorat is a good way to get you backlinks. You can get speed your blog by indexing in technorati.
Listed on Technorati for sure is better than not. Not the say that Technorati is a high PR website. good!
Yes you should list your blog on technorati. So claim your blog. Use the important keywords in the tag. You will get backlinks and traffic from the technorati.
Technorati used to be very relevant and carry a lot of value, but recently it's become fairly irrelevant. I've tested TN inclusion and without, no real changes.
With the new changes they are going to hold more weight soon. Cant say for sure of the value of it yet been waiting a week now for my claim to be processed
sure, technorati have good alexa rank. Try to put your important keyword in Tag. Definitely your site will be fast index and help you to get backlinks.
Surely Technorati helps us in our search engine rankings especially in case of blogs. I have seen Google showing backlinks for many blogs from technorati Tags
Alexa means nothing. PR means nothing. They're just something shiny to wave around. You shouldn't judge a website by Alexa rank. That's just stupid.
Technorati has been effectively dead for over a year now and no matter what they do with it they will never revive what they once had...the internet has moved on without them.
