How can you tell if the results that you are seeing are caffeinated or not? Also, what has taken Google so long to roll out this infrastructure change. I thought it would go live early in the New Year?
You needed to track your results before caffeine with the test ip http://209.85.225.103, so that you can compare them with todays results, if they looked different before then you would be able to tell if you are looking at a live version of caffeine
Google caffine is faster than previous version of google search engine. There are many other qualities included in the caffine search engine.
They are rolling it out "behind the scenes", so if you haven't been monitoring it, then you might not even have noticed it. Although they never said which ones specifically, most of their major data centers were to be live after the new year. Definitely seeing lots of changes in the SERPs for USA, UK, and Japan.
I wonder if they will confirm when caffeine is rolled out to all their centers? They made such a big deal of it last year and now not a word.
It was never really a big deal. It was just announced. Judging from the way they are rolling it out, I don't think they want to make it too big a deal. Like they said, most people won't even notice the changes really.
