is there any software that doesn't require a login? i have a bunch of low cost items and would like them to be able to just add to cart and then checkout.
Ya infysoftwaresolution company prepared(provides) such ecommerce site which have such facility that user can purchase items with or without login but atlease form should be filled before proceed to checkout.
that probably won't work as users has to register and shall provide information on the system. else that site will be for scammers only
But all the information will send to user's mail id (all the details of his order will be send to user's mail id which is provided by the user before moving to checkout).
Well the biggest issue with registration is usually that people dont want to give away their email (something you obviously intend to collect) so you might as well use registration. For future use and administration it is always good to have a customer list. /Rob
eCommerce templates shopping cart has this option to make orders without login also I think OsCommerce can handle this kind of transactions. But It's not preferrable to sell the items and place the order without proper user informations?? You still can do it without login by just filling out the customer data once but it will create problems for your returning customers and you may lose them as they will hate to put all information again and again.
aitendant commerce solution does not require registration. However if you would like the customer to have self management then they will need user name and password.
even without registering your going to collect the email. the only difference of not registering is you can't look at your history and stuff like that. i was looking at opencart.it has the option of registering or checking out as guest. looks like it has to be coded so it shows dollars instead of euros.
