Image Upload Error

    Whenever i try to upload image to my blog i usually get the message shown on the image below. Even after i changed my permission to 777, i still get it.

    Well you already verified it was at 777.. hmm
    Some hosts run PHP in safe mode which can cause it and usually would have to contact the ISP. This is usually noticeable if you have a few plugins installed and none are working though... so if it's only images...

    Under Settings and Miscellaneous does it have wp-content/uploads ?

    All my plugins are working properly. I usually used to upload images before and it does work. My other blogs i host on this same site does work. I just dont understand why this is so.

    upload that functions.php again and try it.

    Your functions.php is corrupted. try to upload a backup copy.

    If i delete the functions.php and create a new file namely functions.php , will it still affect my blog as i do not have any recent backup? I tried it and it affected my blog, meanwhile i made a functions.php backup before embarking on this. Does anyone know a way out of this?

    Did you contact your web host concerning it? They may have restrictions on some of the php functionality

    my host did not do this because i am able to upload images in my other wordpress blogs.

    This is not wisdom to not take a backup. Your website should be backuped at least weekly.
