I really need some help in solving this wordpress problem.

I really need your help in solving this problem and perhaps this is just a basic one for you.

Why is it that when I am going to put my http://domainname.com/wp-admin to any browser, it will go directly to the live site, http://domainname.com. So, I can’t login to wp-admin.

Please tell me guys.

 

And after what it is so?? Can you write the url of the website?

 

can u check by adding www. ? may be this is the problem

 

Also try the trailing slash as well. You have to do that on some webserver setups.

If that works, that's a sign of a larger problem. Please let us know if that's the resolution and I'll did for the solution.

edit: Thank you to the ass who dinged me for rep on this. I'm sure you feel better now. I'm sure I've dinged you previously for posting a "me too" post or "reinstall wordpress" or another worthless answer reply so I guess we're even now.

 

first thing.......................please post your url here.............so anyone can give you the right solution............second check your .htaccess..........for redirection................

 

My apologies guys for not posting the url of my website. Anyway, I have finally made up my mind to reinstall wordpress again. Thanks for your suggestions.

 

go into your FTP and check if you still have your wp-admin there ..

Yeah, I have decided to reinstall it again.

 

You need to check the server to see if the d domain name resolution has been going well.

 

I have already done that. Anyway, thanks for the suggestion.
