Hello,I have a website which I am planning to launch,I have one doubt regarding it,say if I want to target a specific keyword for SEO and if I am going to use that as the website title,while keeping in mind the LSI keywords should I name the Title of my website with the extended keyword appended or should I use the main keyword alone for the Title of the website and for building up links and bookmarking for the same site. eg:I have a website where I am targeting the keyword for "dog training" so if I name my main Title of the site as "learn dog training" instead of "dog training" and also use the same anchor text and Title tag for building up links and do social bookmarking,how much of a difference is it going to make for both of the keyword seperately. Ie I want a clear advice here on should I choose the Title name as "dog training" instead of "learn dog training" and use the same for social bookmarking and link building or should I use the latter considering the the wide range. One more thing is the keyword "dog training" is having more search results than "learn dog training". Here I just gave an example,I am targeting some other main keyword.
If you are starting a new website and having less credibility in SE's means, I would suggest you to go for long-tail KW with descent search volume. Targeting long-tail KW will easier to get descent ranking in short time if you did quality SEO work. If you are doing 'dog training', you can use 'learn dog training' as you told. You can also use KW's like., * 'dog training UK(location)' * 'cheap dog training' * 'best dog trainings in UK' * 'dog training in one month(appropriate time) But make sure that the KW's has good search volume before choosing. No here I got lucky as I got an expired domain name which was the main keyword itself.so I have like dogtraining.org and the main keyword has more searches per month infact 10 or 50 times more searches than other LSI keyword.So isnt it wise to choose the main keyword as I got the right domain name in this case?Should I append the domain name to my heading here in this case?
If you target with the competitive keyword means popular keywords its hard to get rank. Your website is new so use long tail keyword to target your website to get some traffic initially also.
But I have got the same domain name as the main keyword which is having more than 100000searches per month,so dont that mean that I will easily outrank my competitor having a different domain name which is no where related to the main keyword which he was ranking high for.Also he is having page rank 4,but I am just starting up my website.
