I need a logo header designing. The site will be called SIA Forum. The site is for all security employees that hold a UK SIA license. So door supervisors/retail security officers, CCTV operators, close protection officers etc etc. The dimensions and color scheme does not matter as the site is not up yet obviously no HUGE logos or headers though it must be a reasonable size anything that fits nicely at the top of DigitalPoints header is fine. Our site will then be designed around the winning logo/header so color scheme does not matter but I LOVE transparent backgrounds. The payment will be via PayPal and the competition will end 1st Feb 2010. I have the right to close and select winner earlier or close the competition if no one creates a suitable design. I will leave feedback on ALL DESIGNS. If you can think of a nice slogan as well that will go with our site and on the logo/header that would be cool Rick
Please don't hijack the thread you either want to enter or not. I don't want to waste my time or anyone else's time either. Do you think these threads are fun to make or do? NO!!! I have said I will review every entry which takes my time and effort I wouldn't do this unless I wanted an image and was willing to pay. The reason I say that is another contest I am holding is failing to produce the design skills I want, this is a competition after all. Would you go to a supermarket and buy moldy fruit or products? No you wouldn't. So why should I pay $30 for an image I don't like and clearly any image designer who doesn't want to enter this for that reason doesn't have much faith in there designs and is clearly not producing very good work. Like I said I will be leaving constant feedback to members to improve and re-submit designs to give maximum chance to win that's why this contest is lasting so long to give people time to work on a design and help to improve and get what I am looking for. Please do not hijack my thread that contributed nothing to my thread and the soul purpose was to prevent people for entering read the rules at DP very luck I don't report. Rick

Anyways, here is my try: ---------------------------- It has 2 variations, I couldn't decide which one is better so I uploaded the both of them. ^^ All colors can be changed as well as the background. Hmmmmm it's good don't get me wrong just not what I am looking for. Needs more creativity I don't think a padlock symbolises the site very well. Also the font needs to stand out more. But back to the image and slogan. It's more for a company selling security products if I was selling security products that would be great but we're not it's for security professionals working in the security industry. believe me or not, i started designing the logo way before i saw your entry, Just after Tusha's entry i minimized my firefox and starting designing. And when i submitted my entry i saw plazmaDesign's entry just above me and then i went further up and i was like oh sh*t lol. So i claim to be original, original meaning the shield idea came straight from my mind. Cheers, CHSajid.
