hey, Here are the ten useful tips, 1.using signature on forums,emails. 2.you can use newspaper ad to direct visitors to our site. 3.buying targeted traffic campaigns from some great traffic service providers(one of them in my signature),there is no doubt ,your website will be in front of real peoples,because i personally use that service to increase my website traffic and it worked. 4.try to make a card with your website,and give it to your friends,leave it in car or train . 5.post articles frequently on popular article sites such as ezine ,go articles etc. 6.post free inexpensive classified ads. 7.join popular seo forums like this one and make frequent contribution with your website link as signature. 8.try to find a blog that suites your website content,and make feedback to that blog also remember that feedback should be genuine,so that it cannot be recognized as a spam,include your website link there. 9.submit your link to directories. 10.write an ebook about your subject of website.
He great for this list. What I would like to add would be video marketing. It is also used very often. Do you have something about mini-network marketing (or something like thak)? Do you know what it is and how it works?
I have some questions about this. I would like them answered. 1] Can I just tell my friends about my website or do I have to make a card and give them? 2] Whose car to leave the card in? If I leave the card in my own car, will I get increased web traffic? I can totally see my website http:\\backlink-building-seo-services-article-writing.com getting great traffic because I littered cards bearing my website URL in every train though.

Not everyone has the same technical knowledge as a computer nerd who posts 3,500 times (?? - get a life!). Same goes with axlarry. Don't forget making videos for your site, it's another great idea. I recently begin to do that things more and more.
you can add media buying also but most people wont have the budget for that, but it is still away to get massive amount of traffic to anywebsite

Sites like eZdia , facebook , twitter , linkedin , orkut etc helps you very much in promoting and advertising your product which will automatically brings traffic to your site

Depending on your content, press releases can do a lot. Used to work with a mac related company, and getting a story on macnn would send thousands of visitors that first day. Then you'd want to capture emails with a contest, and so on... Basically, setup a way to collect emails, aweber, whatever. Then create a good giveaway, something unusual works well, not an ipod! Then, send out press, and post on forums related to that thing you're giving away.
Good point; i just recommend you to add press release in the row. Press release would really help a lot to a more traffic.
if you make a card,it is better because your card will be seen by many peoples,you know why?,if you give the card to your friend ,there is a chance to get your card viewed by his family members also! Try to leave card in others car,it is better to increase traffic.Leave more cards in train because of the heavy traffic of trains....

good,but a little puzzled about the 4th point?try to make a card with your website,and give it to your friends, leave it in car or train?I doubt whether you have done it before.
