Will twitter ban me for bot follows?

I have made a strategy to get very very active followers and I am getting them and I am happy. but I though that I also have 1000s of twitter accounts and I do not use them. They are just blank. Just created. I though I can make them all follow me. Will that be a problem with twitter?

Will twitter find and ban all my accounts?
They are all created with proxies, but I may not use proxy when I login and follow and logout

Can some one tell me if that will cause problems

    So have you tested it?
Like eg: i make all 1000 accounts that I have to follow one main account, will that lead me to trouble?

interesting idea - I'm sure that there are people who would be willing to buy bulk twitter accounts. God knows why, but people buy all kindsa stuff. GL

If you follow with all those accounts in a timed out fashion using proxies, I would think that is natural. If you bot follow all at one time, you most likely get caught.

The bigger question is what's the advantage to having all 1000 of your accounts follow one account? They are not normal people nor buyers?

    Yes, they are just useless
Yet, I can get my accounts with real and active 1000s of them
    This is just an addition
I have those accouts with out any use and want to do something
So just though I can add them all to my main account

So you do not want me to add all 100s or 1000s of them at once
You want me to wait like 60 seconds and do it

Hmmm, if twitter will ban that, I can use that on my enemies and ban them all :D

    Let me know

Having thousands of fake followers on Twitter will not encourage others to follow you. Delivering great content and developing a great persona is the only thing that will work in your favour. I mean, go ahead and try it if you want, just dont get all upset WHEN you are banned, because like most of us here, all that we will have to say is "we told you so".

It takes just as much time and planning to rob a bank than it does to start a legit business. Remember that.

Never mind, I just dont need these bots to follow me. I have a method to get 10000s of true ones, then why to have these bots and mess me up

As I said in my last post, when you get banned, people will only say that they told you so. This is a bad tactic, and I can not recommend that you do not do this enough.

I know, so I have left this useless method
I have my own working one and that is more than enough for me
    Thanks

There is no point to it. There are similar tricks to display large number of RSS followers and so on. Most people will realize/doubt that you are a faker and won't follow you unless you are also notable in some other way.

Be honest and truthful when you can and don't resort to unnecessary gimmicks. People appreciate that, especially online.

one of the easiest ways to gain fast friends is find a few high profile accounts on twitter, follow them, wait 5 mins and unfollow and refollow immediately. What this does is keeps your profile at the top of their followers list, and usually within a few hours you will have several hundred followers depending on the day and time your are attempting this.

Yes, May be it will cause your main account on one level, so you have to first confirm this thing firmly because it's risk for your work and also to you.

Useless, twitter are very clever when it comes to detecting bots.

They also monitor user browser agents very carefully.

Browser Agents can be easily faked, it's one line of code. A few more if you want it to cycle through different browser agents.

What do mean they monitor browser agents. I don't write code so I don't know what you're referring to. Could you please explain? Does twitter invade your privacy too? It seems if they can do that they'd have one person in customer service but it's obvious they put zero value on the people who are keeping them in business. Because they don't have customer service I don't see this company lasting much longer. They are actively targeting and deleting loyal users so I see this as a dying company. It's 15 minutes of fame is almost up and the leaders of the company are the one's unwittingly sabotaging their own company. The next career for them is squeegeeing windshields on street corners. Maybe then they might realize what customer service is.
