    Hi friends. I was reading about the god mode in the windows 7. Is there any such mode in the windows XP too???????? if yes than plz tell me its details and benifits too.

    safe mode and logging trough Administrator if the password is not set (Default - no password for Administrator). If need step-by-step tutorial, just ask.

    I don't think that through the Admin mode anyone can access the hidden system files. I want to know that mode. Plz don't suggest dos commands i already knew about them. rather a tut will be helpful.

    you just simply create a new folder in win7 and just rename it by GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} and u will find that with control panel sign and will have access around 270 main system tools. many of them will not be accessible in the normal mode.

    That really is not a very good basis for turning from XP to 7. I've been with XP since it came out and have never even thought twice about switching to Vista or 7; XP is much less resource hungry, many less bugs (obviously), 99% of Windows OS specific programs support XP and also there is not annoying new features like the UAC. Lastly, any feature you like in Vista or 7 can be duplicated in XP so I really don't see the reason why I should upgrade. (Unless they make a XP 2.0 but since it's Microsoft it'll probably be the same OS with a new background and a different default theme).

    God mode doesnt work in Xp because its not really needed because of the classic view panel.

    In Vista god mode works with 32 bit but can cause difficulties with 64 bit.

    For me, If you buy something than you must utilize full of your money. Is it matters that you pay for something and not getting proper use of it. i think it is just waste of money. AND yes it is not a "crack" it is just a trick to use full potential.

    I did this godmode thing on Vista, and unless I'm missing something, there is really nothing new that it creates. It appears to simply group together in a single folder a collection of shortcuts to settings that are already available through control panel and other means.
    Is there something new here that I am overlooking?
