Hello DP members,

I am confident I can hear great answers here in DP.

My question has something to do with the accuracy of Alexa. Simply, how accurate is Alexa?

One more thing, who among you here have already used Alexa? For those who have tried, please do share some of your experience about this.

Honestly, I don't even look at Alexa. It is not very acurate.

My guess is around 60% - 75%

 

I look at it everytime i surf a website. And its very important for us webmasters. It is very accurate i believe. It is calculated in terms of traffic and gets updated 2-3 times per month.

Alexa ranks are bsed on thier toolbar so not many ppl care abt it

it will change according to the IP. I have two ip, in one its show around 300000 and in another ip it shows around 400000

 

I have noticed this as well. Are you still using it until now?

 

Alexa is hardly accurate, to be honest. I've seen sites with HUGE AMOUNTS of traffic having a more worse Alexa Rank than sites with LESS traffic.

 

Nowdays it hardly matters.

 

I think, so far, most of you questioned the accuracy of Alexia.
