I just checked my link on maxlinks.org and found out their design changed. However, not only design but I also encountered this problem. My link has been removed with any prior notice. I just paid them around 4-5 months ago in continue my annual listing with them (via Paypal subscription of course). My website was also being listed on their frontpage before. Since the design changed so it is still ok if my site won't be listed on front page any more. BUT!!! My website has been removed from its category, inner page also!! This is rude and cannot be accepted. Maxlinks.org was a popular one but it sounds like a scam ripped-off directory for now. Is maxlinks.org owner changed? I did contact them but haven't got any respond yet. Could anyone here please tell me what's going on there?
Did you opt for reciprocal link? I dont know of any good paid directories that still allow rec linking...See if they answer...
They seem to be batting 1000 as of lately. They got pegged for ripping off a design as well about a week ago. Read here Time to cancel your subscription.
its better to cancel your subscription or try to contact the owner of that site. if you have already contacted what they are saying?
More like time for a refund. I never pay anything for a year unless its with a major company. Other wise you'll end up like this.
**Update** Maxlinks.org owner just contacted me via Digitalpoint PM (?) regarding to my link. He said he had contacted me 3 times, 2 via email and 1 via my site contact form and have not got any respond. However, I did check email everyday, including the ones sent from contact form and I still haven't found his email. I have contacted them via contact form and haven't got any respond from them either. Sounds like that we both haven't got in touch with each other because of email problem. He said it was a problem with database and update and now my link got back as it were. My issue has been revoled at least. I still wonder why I haven't got any replied via email but got via DP PM after my thread started. BUT!! As the problem solved so I think it should be fine for now. I have to thanks their support for brought my link back anyway.
