twitter

I recently created a Twitter account.
Can someone suggest something to me, how do I promote it?

so far all i did is I start following few other peoples that I thought would be interesting and i made auto follow back so whoever follows me, I follow back.

at the end of the day i'm looking to get as many twitter followers as possible.

 

I have tried to use twitter twice and always get all 'tweetangled' up so I am not the best advice but I was told to follow people...

 

I'd suggest tweeting often (interesting tweets), retweeting other people, tweet when people are using twitter (M-F 9-5), follow people back, unfollow people that do not follow you back....

I'm getting to be an expert w/ Twitter. First of all - you can follow 1,000 per day - that's the limit, so you can't sit there all day and follow the world.

Anyway, I have different clients -so I create an account, do a find on groups related to my client's website and start following ppl that follow these groups. I then unfollow ppl that don't follow me.

 

I have no such accounts.

 

Try to tweet and Retweet some interesting topic , some important news. Just find the relevant list of your services/products that will benefit you. Regular use twitter.com

 

There's many twitter apps to do whatever you want - just Google what you wanna do, with twitter apps.

 

If you have a website or blog, adding a twitter logo with your follow link will help get followers.

 

You should start to follow as much people as possible with the same interest as you. You can promote your twitter on your website and blog etc to get more followers.

 

i already got 815 tweets, i follow back people who follows me, but i dont see myself unfollowing them who stoped folllowing me, i'm going have to go through that list of followers every day, seems like a big task...

 

i was thinking about that as well, the problem is i dont have a website, i only got this twitter account..

 

You can also add feed URL of your blog in tweeter. Whenever you will write an article in blog, it will automatically display the link to all followers.

i dont have website/blog or anything else, i just have twitter account and nothing else.

 

Try to tweet often and don't add a link in every tweet, maybe 1 in 4 tweet could have a link.

Yes you can follow 1,000 per day but you will get banned if you are going to use twitter don't think that you will get followers right away and they will go straight to your website, I have only 300 and only 50 of them go to my website when I post the link, you may add up to 200 per day more than that will detect a spammer and you maybe banned.

 

You dont get banned for following 1000 ppl in one day... at least i did not got. but you must confirm your email first. From 1000 you probably get back 300 followers with time. and after that you can follow up to 2000 people and so on. you need a certain amount of followers folowing you so you can follow others. Anyway its not a good marketing method. Only brings a few visitors so its not worth it.

 

so what can i do that works and that worth?

 

Ok.. Go do it then buddy, I know from creating 2 accounts and being suspended.

 

Seriously i tell you because i have tested it. 5 accounts i have for 5 blogs and did that trick with a software and i swear that the accounts still work

once i got banned but that was because i forgot to validate my email... did you do that ?
