My site has gone to NA from 10 position in google for many keywords in matter of tym

My site has gone to NA from 10 position in google for many keywords in matter of few hours...
In morning when I check for X keyword it was coming at the 10 position and I was njoying as I was getting traffic from it...but after few hour when i checked its gone!!!! completely !! not even in first 100 pages...

I had changed the page structure last nite..however, I have increased the optimization for the page as I wanted more higher position...
can anyone tell me what went wrong???

 

maybe you over optimise adn google decided to ignore your page. Clearly if you "increased the optimisation" something was not right.

understood..however, it should only ignore my one page..i was on first 3 pages for 27 keywords now im for no keywords in first 100 position...only 2 keywords...also my pages are still cached...i don't knw what went wrong...

try to submit site to social bookmarking sites and get those bookmarks indexed by google

I had a similar problem.

Site changes were made, supposedly better content and some new landing pages were added. Everything looked positive initially and then the site starting slipping to pages number 3-5 for medium-demand key phrases and words.
I kept watching and entered the key words and phrases often from the same computer. The search engine apparently likes to make one feel better when this is done and places that key word up front for a given location, but this appears to be an illusion.
This is my experience.

yes...m still lacking with social bookmarking and social submission...also not started with Article marketing...i guess this can be issue..but why all of sudden ...means it was showing few hours ago...n suddenly gone...

Key words were on page 1 and 2 after recent addition of content, positive site changes. At least I thought so.
I watched the site's position on pages closely for these key words.
The problem was that I was entering these words frequently to check my position. The search engine recognized my computer IP. At least this is what I think happened. Position was very positive for this location ONLY. I entered the same key words from another location and the sites positions are much lower. A SEO guy also confirmed this by phone-Search engines distort the key words positions based on number of entries at that location.
I hope this is clear.
All of this is based on my experiences and communication. That is the basis of this post.

okk...yes you are correct...google do consider your search history to give you result page..however, there will not be much difference...because of that...what happens..if for example..you see for particular keyword, the ranking on site in 10 on google.co.uk..it may be 15 on google.com ..its varies according to country...not IP..also when you check from mobile..it differs according to the format of your site..whether it is supprted by mobile application or not..n also the position for website keeps on changing depending on various parameters..me too still striving to get back my ranking...i had 6th rank for the most competiting keyword..but now im nowhere in first 100 ..it happens..

 

If you were changing content or layout of the page then it could have caused problems ( spammy keyword density, etc. ). if you can tell us what the website is, might be able to take a look at it. Cheers.

 

the page is antivirus.reviewcity.net/best-antivirus/top-10-antivirus-softwares-of-2010/ ..i changed the content of only this post...but my website's other page which were having ranking of 12-20 for almost 20 keywords are gone....plz help..atleast I should know the exact reason so that I will take care of it next tym..thanks..
