Why is not BING included in the search engines list?

That is pretty good new search engine, isn't it?

I am confused by your post - MSN is Bing (Microsoft owns Bing). What list are you referring to? Your own list in the title of your post?

Bing is a big engine with almost 10% of market share in the USA. Below are the breakouts to show you how that fits in:

    Google - 64%
    Yahoo - 20%
    Bing - 10%
    Ask - 3%
    AOL - 3%

I hope that helps. Also, if you are looking to submit to Bing and/or 400 other search engines here is a list of submission pages:

Bing (and 400 other search engines) link to submission page

I am referring to the Threads here. There are google, yahoo, other search engines and directories.

    Why not include Bing, Msn?

Yahoo+Bing it`s the future. In short time will be equal like Google. But now, sure Google it`s the best.

Where did Bing actually come from? I understand that Microsoft own it but is is just a sub-company of theirs?

Personally, I always use Google; if only by habit. People ask a question and then say to themselves, "I'll just Google that and find out". To "Google" has become more of a verb

Bing was Live which was MSN Search, so it has been around for years and years, just changes names and tries to get better (to compete with Google).

Here is a list of 400+ - List of Search Engines

I do also, but I like competition in the marketplace so I use Yahoo, Bing and Ask as much as I can...:)

Google cover almost whole USA market in the Search engine race, but i think yahoo is also sharing a huge amount of share. It was sharing approx 16% last year.

Which tool do you use to monitor where all of your traffic comes from? Or is it part of your website controls?

bing are nothing, for all the money they have spent on advertising and have such a small share is crazy, bing is a more complicated rip off of google.

i wish microsoft would surrender on this one and leave us all to concentrate on google optimisation

    Yahoo => dying search engine
Google => Currently dominant search engine and most innovative services
Bing => Microsoft jeolousy to grab Google market....( greed actually) :D
