I want to say Avatar as it was my favorite movie of 2009 and truly epic, but whilst theres alot of action involved would it fall under the action genre enough?

I think Avatar should be in this list since it has actions scenes in it and the movie is really refreshing and the visual effects being use is really amazing.

 

2012 was a superb movie of 2009.
