    Hello,

Maybe this is not the right place to ask this question, but I didn't find another better category for it.

If I want to search all Wordpress blogs in a specific niche, how do I proceed?
Is there a known way for this? A tool or some search engine?

Google has it's own blog search function

You could also try Googling for 'powered by Wordpress', followed by keywords for your niche (e.g. weight loss)

    Why restrict yourself to Wordpress?!

    site:com inurl:blog “keyword”
    site:edu inurl:blog “keyword”
    site:gov inurl:blog “keyword”

    :D

    Hello,

Thank you. Indeed, I wouldn't want to restrict to Wordpress. Can you please explain shortly the search commands you used? Where can I find some good docs about all available commands and combinations?

Just type those commands through Google... for example... > site:edu inurl:blog “trumpets” < would return all blogs ending in the edu tld that are covering trumpets in some way. The only problem with using such commands is that many blogs can be running as nofollow. Use Firefox and NoDoFollow addon to check them. If you dig deep you should be able to find some gems.:D

I assume the command you mentioned will miss all blogs that do not contain the blog in their url. Like custom people sites that are actually blogs.

I'm wondering why no-one has mentioned blog directories? There are hundreds of them; many not that great, but here are three of the best I've found:
(sorry can't post live links yet, but these are easy to find)
    blogcatalog.com
    bloggeries.com
and my personal favorite blogflux.com This one is the best organized and has the best breakdown of categories
Any of the these should make it easy to find blogs in your niche.
    Hope this helps
    Ken

Google Search = blog search: your niche topic....

This will give the highest ranked sites in your niche.
