I live in Royal Oak, Mi. can anyone help me with learning more about the product?

Hi, I live in Royal Oak Michigan and I am new at this Google Analytics. I am trying to find out the best way to promote my web site to get the biggest bang for the buck. I have lots of time on my hands because I am not employed right now so if anyone out there thinks they can help me to really use this product an a great way please let me know. There is so much information on this it spins my head. I have a website with google called http://sites.google.com/site/dlorfelsite/Home where there are google ads on the left of the screen and of course when someone clicks it I get a few cents. I guess the real question is, there is a trick to everything and best practices and what I am looking for is the best way to promote my site for the cheapest way to make money on the ads. O would suggest reading many of the threads in this forum related to your question. This will help the most. It is very unlikely that someome is going to meet you in a "club in the detroit area", or even email you, because this is what the forums are for.

I will give you one tip, traffic = $$$
So start reading threads about SEO and traffic.
