I have a website that provides information about money. I am confusing sometime because when I search for site's targeted keyword in google, showing all 1 to 10 result are blog. So, should i convert my website into a blog.. or not?
Blogs are easy to operate. You don't need any special skills to handle it. Moreover SEO wise, they are more friendly than the static sites.
Yeah, wordpress blogs are very friendly to search engines, so they are easier to have better rankings.
there are some blogs which google keeps in higher rank...thats why they apear higher in ranking most of them are of word press and blogger...
In my opinion a blog is easier to maintain than a website, in the SEO area, it also fare better than a website.
why dont you put the website in your signature? I think if you update frequently, your website can rank as well as a blog.

Blogs are easy to operate and have lots of plugins for SEO which make the task easier. Top SERP can also be achieved from a Website also if you build a lot of backlinks.

If isn't necessary to update your content very often, then i wouldn't do it imho. I know sites that didn't change their site for years and they are still nr.1 in results even with poor content. Make sure you have links on the net.
Website and blog both are having their own importance. Websites are for business purpose and blogs are for sharing information and knowledge. If we integrate blog with website, it is pretty much beneficial because blogs are updated on regular basis but we can't do that with our sites. So it is a great way to improve website traffic and organic search.
Blog is easier to update, I feel...plus the new content will always be on the main page. So visitors will certainly come to your blog.
