Directories and Adsense

I heard that google frowns upon people posting their site on "link farms". How many directories have you submitted your website to, and have you had any problems? Is it best to stay away from directories if you have adsense ads?

 

i never submit my site to directories now.

 

Directory submission cant hurt but do it bad and you will waste your time. So dont worry about your adsense ads and directory submissions.

 

Are you suggesting that they are the same thing?

 

Then what made you visit the directory section here?

 

Probably cuz she wanted to give us all a massage lol I have noticed something around here lately; some "new" members talking negatively about directories...makes me wonder if they are part of the Failed "silly domain" Directory Owners Association.

 

Its quite possible that they do feel bitter, lol, enough warnings get sent out, both to new directory owners and submitters, they ignore it then come back later all wound up like they were tricked into doing what they do.

 

I still remember that dirpool guy...he was fascinated by you and Bruce As I see his site now...the page title reads : "Start diving in the Pool of quality backlinks"...Made my day!

I noticed his thread http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1521079&highlight=dirpool where he announced it and thanked himself, announcing he had just submitted to it, not suprisingly hes banned.

 

Did you read he said that he submitted his own site 'in' FeatYred Link? Awaiting approval? I sure would have bought him a beer if he ever came to Chicago. Hilarious guy!
