The internet is by far one of the most important inventions yet. We use it every day everywhere all day. If it wasn't for the internet, then half the world would be jobless and the military would be useless. I believe the internet has brought more good than bad to the world. The worst thing about the interent is that there is too much false information. There are way to many people that waste time to use the interent for bad. There is just too much useless information. What do you guys think?
The biggest advantage of the internet is that it puts the individual on a much more equal footing (in getting out information) than we have ever been in the past. This, however, is also a major disadvantage, as everybody who has read YouTube comments can attest.

Internet Pluses_ I couldn't say it in words, we can learn anything from our home, without moving an inch.... then we can earn, study, play, share, discuss etc.. etc... etc... in Internet. World is shrunken due to Internet... I won't see minuses .. as i am Positive approacher and viewer...
rajesh, I could see a few negatives due to the internet. I think that some people get so glued to the interent with jobs, games and other things that we forget how beautiful life really is. We need social life to keep our feelings positive. We need our body to be healthy out in the nature with fresh air. I think that everything you stated about the positives are correct and are amazing. But with all good things, there comes bad things.
I completely agree that the advent of Internet surely has made people very inactive... physically! Internet has definitely made networking between people from various parts of the world very easy and instant but the mentioned drawback is a huge negative as well!
So all in all, the interent brings more good than it does bad. I believe that the future is going to be all about the internet. Payments will be a big deal virtualy. But that would result in everyone having to get dsl or what not.
