Each website is assigned a crawl rate which is usually based off of pagerank.

Honestly you can't expect to be ranked that quickly all the time.

This has happened once before with Blogger Blogs on Custom Domains.
    It was back in 2008.
The problem was fixed after a few days. Crappy News if you make your money blogging about the news lol

In the meantime, continue writing articles and making blogs. :)
Things will be back to normal soon enough

Still no news. This is getting out of control.
I really don't want to switch to Wordpress, but if I have to, I will.

I have to disagree to be honest !

I have a blog which is PR0 and not moved up in 6 months but has high traffic and is crawled and indexes new posts within 20minutes.

I however have another blog which is PR2 and I have waited for Google about a week to reindex or view new pages!

    Yeah, dude. It's bad.
This happened back in 2008 with Blogger (blogspot) blogs on Custom domains.

People who are making money for Trend Blogging or News articles are getting
    completely screwed right now.

Lucky for myself, I expanded my niches long ago. :)

Still, my new mini niche blogs will not be indexed until this problem is fixed.

I really hope it will be resolved soon.

    UPDATE FROM: http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/blogger/thread?tid=2518fbcddc2b9fad&hl=en#all

    Guys,

Blogger team only acknowlegde this yesterday. Unfortunally, the weekend is here and this can slow things down a bit. Blogger works well 99,99% of the time, even being a free platform. Let´s give the guys some credit.

DarkUFO, I understand what you are saying, but since this problem affects all bloggers with custom domains, people tend to think that the blogger team has the obligation to take care of this, either fixing it or getting in touch with Google, because they are perceived as one company.

That said, thanks again for your help. You did your best to help us and thanks to you Google is aware of the problem. Now all we can do is to wait and keep each other updated about what is going on with our blogs.

Well said. Just because you were getting indexed right away last week does not mean your going to be fast indexed every time you write a new article. You want your own dedicated Google bot or something?

This problem is affecting hundreds and hundreds of blogger users. Probably hundreds of thousands.

Many of us are used to having our site's new published pages
crawled and indexed within 5 - 10 minutes of posting them.
For me, this has been 100% consistent for the past year.

And now, some of my articles aren't even being indexed...

There is a problem, and if there's not a problem, something has been undoubtedly changed.

    Quick Note:

    I am NOT a NOOB

I've been blogging since January 3rd, 2008, and make about $550 online every month.

Some of my learning references include
    1) SEO Book
    2) Matt Cutts
    3) Digital Point Forums
    4) Joel Comm (little bit outdated now, but did help)
    5) Pot Pie Girl (One Week Marketing)

Remember, folks. My site has a PR4. Within 2 months of creating it,
it had a PR5 on a deep page... I know what I am doing here.

Something is up with the way Google is crawling and indexing Blogger blogs, and as
I do appreciate all of your help, let it be known to those who don't think so, that there
is either a problem or a change in the way Google is crawling and indexing pages.

UPDATE - News May not be so Good...

    From: http://www.google.com/support/forum...d0&hl=en&fid=39cb62da69e640d000047d78c7759c03

    Hi Taylor,

    Here is what I know:

    1) I checked my blogger blog and right now the problem still persists. Zero posts were crawled. Only the homepage is being crawled.

    2) Blogger team is aware of the problem since last friday. Google employee siobhanquinn acknowledged it[1].
2.1) While I dont know for sure, I assume that if this problem is related to google search (and not google blogger only), the blogger team already got in touch with the engineers.

    3) Not all blogger blogs with custom domaind were affected.
3.1) I guess this may be very bad news for us, as it may take more time to isolate the issue. Not only this, if there are other issues affecting more users, they may be given priority. But again, this only an assumption.

    4) Google employees rarely give any aditional information, nor a prediction about the time it will take to fix an issue. They are not allowed to do so.

Right now all we can do is to keep each other and both threads (this one and the other, on blogger forums) updated.

    Best of luck!
