    Hi All,

I am a new comer in ClikBank.
How to market ClickBank products well, if it should be always with Adwords?
Or there is another way better?

    Thanks

Your own Landing page + Article Marketing + PPC(if you know your stuff, else forget it) + Video Marketing and Yahoo answer as well, and you're on!

I would not recommend Adwords unless you know what you're doing --- many newbies had their account banned from Google and don't know why. Google do not like thin affiliates. They want something of value. I would suggest you learn some tips from Perry Marshall by searching more of his techniques.

You need to built pre-sell content around the product you're promoting.

Don't have a domain/website? Use Web 2.0 publishing sites like Squidoo, Hubpages, Blogger.

Have a domain/webhost? Create a review site, "my story site", user-generated content site, and whatever site that have your cloak affiliate link on it.

Now, the 2nd most important part is getting traffic to it -- article marketing, article video marketing, free classified ads, forum/blog commenting, etc.

Along with traffic, you would also need to build your pagerank in order to boost your SEO organic search result. This is a matter of linking your site on an authority site.

Adwords is not a great start.

Hang on the forums, there's plenty to learn.

Cos you will loose so much money if you don't know what you are doing!! It is better to learn first.

Sure you will still loose some money before identifying a winner campaign, but this time it will just be on testing what works best.

Your question should be "How to market ANY product". Once you learn the basics you can market anything you want. And once you learn, Clickbank will probably be your last choice;)

Just out of interest, do you ever make posts here other than telling people that Clickbank's a scam and should be one's last choice? I was just wondering why you frequent this part of the forum so much, if that's your view? I suspect that many here making full-time livings through Clickbank would like to know ...

    Let them be..

Sooner or later they'll get banned.

Just because they're not making a single dime, that doesn't people can't live off affiliate commissions just like I do and many other people. Clickbank and generally speaking any affiliate business is not for "the lazy" so yeah I guess a lot of you guys should go and get a 9-5 job if you can't bare that in mind.

We're not working shifts/ we're not working 9-5 here, some of us spend more than 14 hours daily in front of our pc's. It's a tough biz but it does pay at some point.

unless its an elaborate 'tecnhique' to put potential marketers off to lessen competition.

There is no doubt that you can't make money with CB. But that is not the point. The point is you are right. I never gave it much thought as to how I felt about CB. As you pointed out I certainly have a negative attitude towards it but I should keep that to myself.

I personally do not promote products that I don't believe in, or that are scams, or just basically worthless, regardless of the income potential. CB is full of them. That is not to say that there aren't any good ones, but compared to other programs, I think that the percentage of those type of products are much higher than in other affiliate programs. It makes it difficult to find "what I consider" to be products worth promoting. There is a lot more to it than that, but it isn't worth going into.

In any case, thanks for pointing that out. I really do appreciate it and will keep my negative opinions to myself in the future.;)

Well, we must agree to differ, there. I make a full-time living from it, and I'm not even computer-literate or internet-literate.

    Neither do I.

Yes, I have to agree with you there. Clickbank is absolutely crawling with useless crap. There are probably fewer than 5% of their products that I'd be willing to promote, but with nearly 30,000 listed there, that's still a big number. A great and time-consuming effort to identify them, I acknowledge.

Yes, I can imagine - no argument there.

Thanks for not taking me the wrong way, and for your kind reply! :)

I have been promoting Clickbank products for some time now. When I first started promoting them, I will be honest- I thought they were scammy products and I didn't think I would have any luck. However, to my surprise, I had a lot of luck (well a lot of hard work) in making sales.

I will say, there are still some products that I won't promote, especially if the vendor has an awful sales page. I also don't like to touch the "Cure diabetes, Cancer, etc" products. It is nothing against the vendors, I just don't feel comfortable in promoting them..or anything that has to do with health (even physical products)

I don't plan on backing away from Clickbank any time in the near future because they have some of the highest commissions I have seen. :)

Drive traffic to your own website. Focus on one traffic strategy and do it WELL. Forget about PPC + Clickbank if you are a new to online marketing, you will lose money.
