Thats it, I'm using FireFox now with no script. "Google has threatened to stop censoring search results on its Google.cn site, or to shut it down entirely." Oh Noes? Thought Badu or whatever was the top search engine there.

I recommend caution when visiting sites of the unknown.

Google has about 15% market share in China, Baidu has about 70%.

 

Google has 30% and baidu 60% rest is covered by Yahoo, Sogou and other

Are they primary news sites? I am not so sure. Unlike the Times, neither appear to reveal from where they plucked those numbers.

One thing we might agree on is that 'baidy'[sic] is the dominant force in China

 

thuis gives good publicity to google but i think now google doesnt care much about china

 

I think since Google has already said it is much better to use firefox for those internet users coming from China in that way you wont have problems visiting site ..It is indeed hard to visit and search site with unknown source as you might be getting virus or your account be hacked

I think Google means business already. I mean if your losing a huge amount if income in area like China and you have try everything already I guess it is much better to pull out your business there so it wont affect the whole business . China is Baidu users so I guess Google is losing some money there..

 

Well china users could always use google.com unless offcourse china decides to ban that

i take it that is why MS released a bug fix for IE outside their normal monthly cycle that XP downloaded today.
