Oh heck yes. I can't think of how many things I've tried and then gone out and bought. Tropico 3 comes to mind as the latest.

Hm. I wonder if there is an anti-me campaign here. O,o Posts deleted w/o explain and infractions for things that everyone does...

Anyway, I do use original software... The freewares. As for the others, I rather not speak, but you know why :D OS is not freeware :-P

Most of the time I use genuine software but have been knowen to use pirated software for certain stuff now and again, normally though end up buying the program if I like it and use it alot. Just better as you get updates and full support with any problems that way.

All of my software is genuine. I mean i have some trials on my computer, which i will be removing when they trial expires. Also, it's easier with my xubuntu install to ensure that there's no software piracy since all the software i have on my xubuntu install is from the software libraries available

    I posted...
And someone left me a negative with the comment "Yeah, right. Not even close to being true."

Next time you can reply to me in the thread instead of being a coward.

And yes, the majority of major pirated software online is infected with malware. This is a fact. Heck, go look at the comments in old torrents at PirateBay. When the torrent was first posted a year or two ago, it was all "thank you, thank you!" Then much later on - when the AV programs got caught up - they start posting how the file is infected. So what about the thousands of people who downloaded it early on? Yes, infected, and they didn't even know it because it was passing their AV at the time.

This is exactly how PayPal accounts are broken into, emails hacked and domains stolen.

All that can be prevented by using security keys like www.paypal.com/securitykey some domain registers have them also like name.com

Security keys are fairly new and it is difficult to find services who offer them.

Furthermore, security keys provide a level of protection that is only as good as the process the service provider uses when a key is not available to the owner anymore.

I use pirated Windows 7, but for once I have been happy with Microsofts latest offering so I will be buying this release I think.

App's such as WinRAR, MiRC, Internet Download Manager, Trillian, etc... I have paid for, also I sometimes try nulled versions of php scripts before I buy them though tend not to as much now...

Basically, im all for supporting the small software developers and script/template makers so long as they are not the type that think charging $699 for a php site script or a bit of software.

100% genuine... Mac OS X Snow Leopard (which I fortunately bought for $69 - nice prices, Apple. Microsoft can learn something from that!).

Everything (Photoshop, Coda, Transmit, iWork, Ableton Live, Reason 4 etc.) is genuine since I use my MBP as company pc too.

I use genuin everything. There is no point in pirating stuff, if you get caught you'll end up paying more, possibly jail time and still have to buy the stuff after all that.

If you steal a CD you have to pay for it after and pay $100 fine.
If you pirate a CD (10 songs?) you will get a $100,000 fine and possibly jail time.

That's your problem right there. Following your logic, the following is true:

"Heck all priests and pastors are liars and thieves. It's a fact! Look at Jim Bakker!"

I'd give you red rep as well for not having a clue but I'm already maxed out for the day.

That's nice. You keep believing that. Since you've proven that you don;t know what you;re talking about, welcome to my Ignore list. I don;t think I'll miss you.

I'm sure you will agree with most of the things I say here on DP if you ever become a real webmaster and not just a punk teenager who hangs around at webmaster forums.

Actually your right on the teenager part I am '19' I had to remove you from my Ignore list because I needed a good laugh at your stupidity. I am more of a webmaster then you will ever be, I have a 6 person staff and a registered business. I run a webhosting and server management company with 4,200 active clients. I do-not believe that you have done anything to exceed that.

Enjoy your Negative Rep I bet you will be seeing alot of it. ;)

Funny. I wouldn't have suspected that considering the drivel you post here.
