PR 3 - 0 please help

Hi Everyone

My blog has gone from PR3 to unranked this morning I post almost every day and my alexa traffic rank seems to still be going in the right direction, my site is still found in the search engines and my traffic is still growing, so what have I done wrong??

Maybe it's a temp thing, just stay calm, all will be fine

How are you checking PR? Try other tool/dataceter.

 

hummmm im just using the firefox pluggin to check it

 

do not panic, it happens from time to time, mine also dropped. you are lucky traffic still grows.

I just used pr checker.info and this is what it said

The N/A pagerank (grey pagerank bar) might be due to one of the following reasons:

(1) the web page is new, and it is not indexed by Google yet,
(2) the web page is indexed by Google, but it is not ranked yet,
(3) the web page was indexed by Google long ago, but it is recognised
as a supplemental (Supplemental Results) page,
(4) the web page or the whole website is banned by Google.

If you're not selling links, don't care so much for the PR.
My suggestion is to wait few days, then you may go to Google Webmasters and Request reconsideration

 

no im not selling links but why has this happened? It doesn't seem fair.

 

I think you have done Something which google doesn't like (Sponsored posting, Selling links, public link exchange, traffic exchange) or else, Just stay calm for a while. Your blog will be back soon

 

no I haven't done any of those I just write and post, thats it. I have exchanged links with other design related blogs but thats it.

 

PR0 is one thing and N/A is a different one

 

so what is the difference between unranked and 0?

 

Its just a temporary thing just be calm Ive experienced it before. last google update was done in december last year, so its not an update.

0 is still good - it means you appear in Google results but have low backlinks or none - page rank is calculated from 0 to 10
N/A (unranked) means your site is new (not indexed yet - wait for google update to gain pr) or it was penalized - or it can be a temporary server problem

hummmm yes but many blogs do this and the space I use is always relevant to my readers
