Thank you guys sharing feedback about CPA-lead programs. They look attractive but it's risky as you say.
I neither like those flashing and long forms.

I'm on probably 100's of lists but ZERO CPA-Lead List.

    Thanks!

Didn't bother reading through the whole topic.

To answer to OP: I agree that there are plenty of 'annoying' sites. But I monetized some of my sites (movie, tv, game, dl) with other options and when I started CPALead my earnings went x100.

I have set the option to ask a user to complete one survey in order to get access FOREVER. This way its a fair deal towards me and my customers, since they have lifetime access.

I also let bypass the people that have no surveys available.

This way, my bounce rate lowered with more than 50% and returning customers raised.

CPALead rocks as far as I can say, and if you find a good balance between earning and traffic, I cannot find a better program.

Im pretty sure people felt the same way about popups at first, and probably still do. Popups annoy the crap out of me, but if i need something i will withstand them anyway.

CPALead is only in the spot light for a while now. Eventually it will just be some other way to monetize your content, just like contextual ads, popups, popunders etc.

At the end of the day. Its like membership sites that make people pay for things like music, movies, tv etc. When you can get them from p2p easy enough. It just works.

ratios vary a great deal, mine are around 10% sometimes up to 30% - it depends on what you are offering and what surveys / offers you promote - the current photoshop offer pays out $45 a time...

Fair enough :) For the complete once and access forever feature you speak of, how does it check if the visitor has completed it once or not? Cookies? or some kind of database by CPAlead?

Easy fix, add this to your .htaccess:

    order allow,deny
    deny from 78.129.178.234
    allow from all

    Code (markup):

if the content is premium then of course your members will fill out the survey. you should talk to the webmaster of the site if you have to keep filling it out and see if they will change they way they use cpalead

I have been using CPAlead for a little while now. I have to say it's the most efficiant way of earning money. Let’s put it this way, nobody gives anything valuable away for free. If all you have to do is fill out a stupid survey to unlock content that someone really wants, then that is nothing. We live in a world now where everyone wants something for free! Well... CPAlead is free! You just need to fill out a simple survey.

People are just so lazy now a day’s. Everyone expects things to come easy. I constantly see people on these forums asking "how can I make a crap load of money in 10 minutes today" first off, If someone knew how to do that, then they would keep it to them selves and not saturate there system. If someone was offering an eBook that could give me some simple yet effective ideas to help me grow my business, I would fill out a 5 minute survey to do so. It's all about what you are offering. If you are giving away a free key chain from Apple, then it would be ignorant to make someone fill out a survey. If I was going to offer you 50% off your next 20 purchases at your local grocery store, then filling out a survey would be warranted!!!

Just my 2 cents! People think it's unethical, but the world was build unethically. Let's use Christmas for instance. This is 1 day out of the year that people need to buy other people presents. While making middle income families broke. When we buy these gifts for people we are making business owners extremely rich.

Food for though: 5% of the people in this world own 95% of the money. Think about that for a second!

    to Dmak02:
it seems that you are a free tyre-kicker. If you are a webmaster too, then you might as well realize that making money is the first reason behind every website. and if cpalead gives the oppurtinity to make more money than anything else, why wouldn't other webmasters use it to their benefit? And if you feel that the locked content is not worth your time, then you better find some other websites which dosen't use cpalead. Finally, I can say that the internet world is a battle and profit is all the thing that matters(and not returning visitors). Everybody looks for his own profit just as you did by expecting to get good content for free without completing a survey...

CPAlead is sort of annoying I guess but the earnings are really good. Thus far I've made $20 with them and I think I started a little over 2-3 days ago.

I think it's just annoying in that my visitors and myself included find that the CPA widget doesn't properly detect if the survey is completed. Some hate the fact they have to put their cell # and get lots of txt messages after. Some complain that even after finishing the survey, there are loads of spam offers they keep skipping but the widget just acts like they've never finished the survey.

I think so far with CPAleads my pageviews have dropped about 700. I see that from my stats most people just click but never really finish the survey for a lead.

But still the earnings aren't bad at the rate it's going. Better than adsense. It's just crazy how this guy on CPAleads keeps earning over $2000 for the past two days I think. Maybe it's one of you guys on here. =D
