Sad part is how the media convicted the Ramseys by showing details that seemed incriminating against them, but left out things like the foot print found that did not match any of the Ramseys as well as a palm print and some bodily fluids on JonBenet.

    Some more info

John Mark Karr gave authorities graphic details about the condition of JonBenet Ramsey's body that have been kept secret for nearly a decade, a U.S. law enforcement source told CNN on Friday.

Those details were known only to the medical examiner and the investigators investigating the December 26, 1996 slaying of the 6-year-old beauty pageant competitor, the law enforcement official said.

Some of the details Karr shared were gruesome -- and accurate -- the source said

As this scene unfolds it is becoming more conclusive that without the DNA match there is going to be a very hard uphill task for the prosecution to get a conviction

There is so much information out in the public domain, internet, books, magazines,TV etc etc that this screwball freak has been reading up on and studying for years .................... all that he will try to use to get himself prosecuted

Therefore it is likely that the jury will have a very hard job to come to a guilty verdict without matching DNA

JonBenet murder suspect to be sent home Sunday

John Mark Karr, the American primary school teacher suspected of killing child beauty queen JonBenet Ramsey a decade ago, was expected to be deported to the United States on Sunday, a Thai policeman said.

Karr, 41, was due to be put on a direct flight to Los Angeles, said the official, who asked not to be identified.

He was then expected to be flown to Boulder, Colorado for questioning after telling reporters in Bangkok he was with the six-year-old child when she died at Christmas 1996 but that her death was an accident.

You would almost think that he is doing it for the attention, but why now... why after 10 years does he just 'decide' to come clean? There has to be an alterior motive for him to do this... was he just sick of running? or is he just sick in the head?

Why not lock them all up quietly, if they are lying.. then they probably won't confess once they know they won't get any attention? It also says that there have been many confessions with JonBenet's case but none that attracted officials... why is he so important? because of his background? The only reason he is in Thailand is because the U.S. wouldn't let him teach with his criminal record, especially in an Elementary School (He tought 2nd Grade in thailand... 7 yr old children). You would think that they wouldn't allow this either...

No, he was not arrested in Thailand and let's give credit to the Thai government for this very well orchestrated maneuver; here's why:

He was detained for expulsion from the country due to having an undesirable profile.

Had he been arrested for any crime relating to outstanding charges in the U.S. or another country, it would have required an extradition hearing(s) which could have gone on for months.

Hence the Thai government "detained" while waiting for the U.S. to send a representative to escort him back. He was expelled from the country which is an administrative move and a few strokes of a pen - well done!

As far as the media is concerned - jackasses! The NY Post had headlines the day this story broke that read, "Ramsey Murder Solved" which is obviously far from the truth.

Personally, I'm not convinced he did it, and if he didn't, he's likely just setting up a mental incompetence case for his other outstanding warrants.

Agree with your comments wrmineo and as for the NY Post, well they are completely 'out of order' to make such statements

Come to think of it this guy was pretty smart. He got a free ride back home. Had some good food, champagne. Now he's going to rake in some cash and live lavish.

After he serves his time for possessing child pornography of course.

He had mentioned in one of his emails that he would want Johnny Depp to play him when a movie about his life was made
