Of couse I mean building a following and occasionally offering services. Anyone care to share their experiences? I have not used it for marketing purposed yet.
Hi, Twitter was great until mid of 2009 for us and now I have observed that followers consider stories as a spam comment now a days. Probably facebook is a good source.
hello, I found a great way to send targeted traffic from twitter. I made a free video about it. I am new here though so I am not sure what the rules are about links. PM me if you want the link. Todd Bennett
Twitter isn't dead as a means of driving traffic. Using twitter trends can be an excellent way to get to pull traffic to your site.
Ya know I've got 3 Twitter accounts and about 7,000 follwers and Ive never made a dime with it. I just don't see the facination with Twitter or how they make money with it. I prefer Facebook myself, more one on one commuication.
Facebook is getting better and better. I reckon it's got another 3 months until it's saturated so make the most of it
Twitter is bad for selling products, but if you like to bring traffic to your site or blog then it's a good source.
I have used twitter late 2009 so I have to see the result yet, twitter accounts must be at least 4 months old, at least 2000 high quality followers(real persons, you have more followers than followings, your followers have common interests and goals, professional orgs(group of accountants, group of golfers, etc)) then you can qualify to join highly paid advertising programs, but honestly, I have made $3.25 so far from ppc tweet ads without lifting a finger, but you can make so much money from it if you really have high quality followers.
even if it is automated but it is based on targetted keyword, then it can still be considered good quality but not very high because the keyword targetting is just based on the person's tweets, not the real peron's real interests.
