I finally watched the 3d version of Avatar yesterday and to put it in the best way, it was horrible I came out with a headache, thanks to the 3d effects! The overhyped reviews actually mislead people and the story and theme is just rubbish! It was a total waste of three hours. I invite the opinions of other members here who've watched the movie or planning to watch it.
Wow, That was my first 3d movie and i could not have went to see a better one. The movie was amazing. That is one of those movies that i could watch a thousand times. That is the by far the best movie i have ever seen.
I am planning to see it this weekend because i have heard so many good reviews about it. Yours is the first i have read that did not like the movie. Well we all have different tastes and i will still go and see it, hopefully i will enjoy it, thanks.
I find Avatar refreshing actually I like the visual effects. Although when I watch 3D movie my eyes cannot adjust to it sometimes because I have some vision problems...
...loved it. but then again, I tend to stay clear of hype and reviews and make my own mind up at the time of watching!
I watched 3D too. Nothing special about the story, but the effects are good, including sound and visual.
Hi amalantony, may I ask what kind of movie do you really like? For me, Avatar is one of the best movies that I have ever seen. Anyway, judging the quality of a movie is relative. No two persons could have the same degree of satisfaction in watching a certain movie.
I have watched it too. The characters are not that appealing. May be a bit could have been done with the face. Other then that it is a fantastic movie to watch. Great visual and sound effect. I have to say that this was the best movie that I have watched in recent 6 months. And BTW, i watch movie a lot.
Yeah ur right ... i don't find sci-fi movies tht fascinating.. the effects were fantastic..but i got a headache watchin it. And, i thought that the story was a lil too lame and silly...I mean, I appreciate original(realistic) movies better. Seems like every1 here is against me though ..
Don't blame the movie, you could've also watched the non-3D version, some prefer the non-3D over the 3D, though I don't hear them complaining that the movie "was bad".
well just because you are too noob to handle the 3D effects doesn't really mean the movie sucks. Its just not your type, end of story. Don't demean one of the best movies in 2009
