i am running a campaign on a click bank product (ACNE product ). targetting US,UK and CANADA . i usually get 30,000 over night traffic and get only 1 click . CTR is around 0.003% is this good? help me
No, it's horrible. So you're doing PPC I assume? Are you direct linking or do you have a landing page? And I also have a feeling you're using the content network. I'd highly recommend turning that off until you master the google search PPC campaigns first.
So it's still pretty much direct linking you're just detouring them through your own page so it doesn't look like a direct link to Google? To be honest, I doubt you will see any profit doing this. Clicks in the acne niche are expensive for one, and another thing is that most people need to be warmed up before they just buy something. If you want to stick with acne as your niche then make a landing page reviewing different acne products or a blog telling a story of how that particular product helped you overcome your acne. You are much more likely to see sales that way.
It's the ad not the product. There was only 1 click out of 30k impressions so it's impossible to tell if the product is good or not. To the OP: I don't have any samples to show you. I don't market to the acne niche. Just do a search in Google for different acne keywords and look at all the landing pages.
Look at it this way, out of 30,000 people walking past your store only one person stopped in. What do you think?
Depending on your keywords you might/might not have success. The acne niche is not only over saturated, but you'd be lucky to see a conversion in 1000 hops, that if you're just starting off, and I suppose you don't know much about IM overall, since you've started this thread. If I were you I'd close the campaign and chose a slightly more lucrative niche. Al.
Yea I would agree tough niche and the conversion ratios are real bad. I have only gotton PPC to work when the traffic is laser targeted and there are few competors. Maybe it is time to try another product.
