Subdomains vs. Individual domains

I currently have 11 domain names - all differnet subjects, from forex to snoring, working on adsense revenue and clickbank affiliates.

they are all currently hosted under one account - the FREEFOREXSUCCESSPLANS.com account is a delux GoDaddy account and has room for everything (all the other domains) and it is considerably cheaper to host it this way.

but now I am wondering is it hurting my page ranks. does it matter to the search engines that they are all subdomains of freeforexsuccessplans? am I being penny wise but pound foolish here?

In other words am I better off in the long run having each domain hosted distinctly or does it not matter?

I would love some input on this.

    thanks,
    Win Dogwood

i think it is better to have different accounts for different domains that you have,it will really affect your page rank if you have only one. am i right?

He's not asking about different accounts. But it doesn't matter, google doesn't know whether different sites are on the same hosting account or not.

As for subdomains, these days I'm finding they seem to be treated more separately than they were in the past. I used to see a lot of keyword pollution in Adsense from one subdomain to the other, but not so much anymore.
