Critique my work ( website design )

Hello, I've created a website for a company that produces and sells dutch roses in Romania. The website is in romanian, of course, but I'd like to know your opinion about its design. Trandafiri Interagro is the website. I want to know what can I improve on this website.

I dont like those blue links there, they are like, hmm how to say old-fashioned? Change the colour of those blues links. Anyway, nice template!

 

Yes, nice design. I agree with -Cash-, perhaps change the colour of the blue links and get rid of the underline you have for them.

the navigation menu, changed the color of the links to the HOVER color.

I agree that the Hover color is a better choice. I don't mind the blue links at all. Yes, they're old-fashioned but my eyes still scan for them automatically and I can see them much faster than other colors.

It's a good looking site, but I might suggest maybe swapping the position of your logo (the flowers) to the very top, and maybe making it a bit smaller and moving the navigation below that.

 

Get rid of the blue text links. You should consider changing the white text in the top left to a darker color. It's hard to read. Otherwise pretty nice

Site it good, but very difficult look main menu.

 

I don't like it too much:
1. middle part with photos are to big for small monitors and create mess.
2. Green company name on background is bad combination and using this type of 3D text doesn't looks good. Some logo type would be much nicer
3. Menu o left top side is not recognizable as menu very easily (underlink or some light graphic could help)
4. Used font is not my cup of tee
5. Green + Orange combination is usually good, but here it is orange too light, maybe because of left gradient part.

It is not bad design at all, but from me it could get 2 points from 5 maximally.

 

Yeah, i agree. You have some very good points. The font is definetly off and the combination of colors does not flow too well together. Using two bright colors at the same time is a no-no.

As far as your HTML goes, i would suggest to check it to make sure it works in all browsers and fits the resoltuons of at least 1024x768

You have low contrast text at the top and you are side-scrolling in 1024.

I love the big flower pictures though. It really grabs attention...

 

The animated flower header is beautiful...very attractive with all the colors. Other than that, I think you could stand to change the rest

It is a bit too wide at my screen resolution, the links issue has already been mentioned too. I also am not sure about the splot color design, if you know what i mean!!

I would remove the top part and push up the animated header and try and keep it simple for the rest of the design.

 

1. Change the white color from menu.
2. Make the content text smaller.
3. <h3> tags color make it does not fit with the green background.
4. Change color links.
That`s it for the moment.
