What is "Do Follow" and "No Follow"

I saw these terms in many discussion. But, truely, I don't understand these terms. Please explain me in details what do these means and which one is better?

 

In simple words

Nofollow are for not crawling a link by search engine. Dofollow allow search engine to crawl links. Nofollow tag we can use if we are using a link for reference not for crawl. Both are good for human traffic.

 

when I am using blog commenting for getting backlink to my site/blog, which should I use, dofollow or nofollow?

I don't think you can can control it if you're just leaving comments... it will be hard coded into the blogs html / css whether or not the links are set to noFollow. All comments left on .blogspot blogs, for example, are automatically set to noFollow to stop people building backlinks from them... or spamming!

 

ok, then how to get dofollow , that means actual backlinks easily?

Your can use plugin in modzilla. By using this pluginYou can know easily which link dofollow and nofollow because it showing different color..

There are a few ways of doing that:
- You can yourself check whether a blog. This way you can search for dofollow blogs and then comment on them.
- You can purchase lists of dofollow blog pages and then comment on them. There are a lot of people out there selling those dofollow lists for a few bucks, I am one of them.
- You can search for such lists for free, but then, almost none of those available for free are of use, that why people who sell dofollow blog lists gets clients.

try to write your comments to dofollow links. it will improve your backlink and your PR as well. You can search on Google to find out dofollow blogs..

 

do follow means your robots can follow your links.......................nofollow means your link will not be followed by robots..................

 

You can visually see the no follow tag if it has some red color in it then it is has no follow tag in it . You can browse the pagesource of your Mozilla firefox plug in and then type the rel="nofollow" code to see if it is no follow or do follow . Just install Seoquake or check the pagesource of the site

 

in simple words nofollow is a link for user only, not for crawler, whether dofollow is for crowler as well as user.
