pr0tip: search for your site on yahoo. every day. from different computers. home page will be indexed within ten days.
Only 5-10% of internet users search with yahoo , try to concentrate on google. Yahoo don`t matter much
It just means you're unlucky a little bit but let us get focused on Google Search. Much much more people are using it, so you dont lose so many visitors by the lack of getting indexed on Yahoo Search, I think.
Here is a clue for you........... Advertising Networks Pages Viewed (MM)= millions 1. Yahoo! Network 282,320 2. Google Ad Network 221,476 3. Advertising.com 58,343 Here are some more clues People on Yahoo typically convert to a sale or lead better than those on Google. Further, many purchases are made without a Google search being done. Yahoo is the largest display ad network for a reason, and that is because advertisers find value in advertising with Yahoo.
Ding! That's correct, and it's also why Yahoo gets lower quality results. The most authentic and best sites cannot stuff keywords into every orifice of the page while spam sites can ratchet up their keyword density without concern. This is why Yahoo is losing users like a bucket without a bottom.
Do you have any fact to back up the claim Yahoo is losing users??? I can guarantee the millions of snowboarding fans worldwide seeing Yahoo sponsored endorsements everywhere, aren't running to Google or Bing....
My site lobbyhotel.biz when i search in yahoo with lobbyhotel without dot.biz i can see my site. I could reach this for about 3 month, i dont know what exactly maybe you can see my site. I hope you can find answer... But google still not index my site.
i can't get my website to load up on either yahoo or google. they crawl my site but don't refresh so the only way peple can find my site is by typing the address straight in. it stinks.
Maybe it depends on where your (hoped for) visitors are coming from, but I've noticed how Yahoo seems popular with certain countries and not with others. How long has your website been operational? I've had sites to which I've not submitted to Yahoo, but Yahoo has found them anyway.
it has had nice fresh content on it for about two weeks. the last ime it was cached on google was 8 december. yahoo doesn't say when they did it. it's been up and running now for two weeks but i can't get any business because the stinking domain registry marketing drivel is still in the cache they use. bing doesn't even find it. massive piece o' chit. not sure if it makes a difference, but i'm in Australia. it's registered as a .com though.
I would never worry about not being ranked in Yahoo. They have the least used search engine and will bring in the least amount of traffic. I always try to rank for Google. I have not really done much research on Bing, does anyone have any information and know if Bing is worth ranking in.
The issue lies with you, not the search engines. Hire someone who knows what they are doing..... Where do you get your information as its highly inaccurate.. Advertising Networks Pages Viewed (MM)= millions 1. Yahoo! Network 282,320 2. Google Ad Network 221,476 3. Advertising.com 58,343 Further Yahoo is not a search engine. It is a PORTAL with a search engine attached and we and 10,000s of others make money from Yahoo daily. Because you do not is your fault.....
You obviously have no idea how vitial it is to get your website ranking high on all search websites, not just Google. They don't add each URL/website manually.
I do not think i ever worried about Yahoo results getting me much traffic. Although it does help a little... i would not dwell on yahoo. Just my 2 cents because yahoo is just before bing in traffic ratings... that does not say much for them.
As long as you optimize your websites in what yahoo like then it will be fine.. You can search in Google like this "how to optimize my website in yahoo"
Well, 5 month is not too much, google first of all search engines get indexed my blog too. If bing will index your site faster then yahoo - you may start to worry
