    .TV is the Top Level Domain for Tuvalu, and this is where the story gets insteresting and this could be the main reason why it is expensive..

    cctlds are always expensive. also it is some idiots who keep raising the prices in registry sides with premium tags

    .tv was thought to be the greatest extension for TV based companies and that users would flock to it... like the overhyped .mobi. Nobody cared. .TV didn't do much of anything for any company beyond the same domain .com, .net and .org
