http://www.computer-help-online.com I just started putting some content on, but I want to start submitting to directories too. Do you think they will reject it for being "unfinished or under construction"?
I suggest you increase the content on the homepage. Many directory owners don't look beyond the homepage if it looks like a quality page. First impression is the last impression.
I think you need to work on content. Once you have it, you can update your meta tags accordingly. Directories, especially the new ones will accept anything, but the question for you should be what are your plans for search engines and indexing.
I agree with the above posters; your site should be accepted by most directories. If they reject your site, you can generally re-submit in a month or two and many will re-consider your request. Also, some directories may not even start to look over your request for a few days, so it's better to get the request in now. I also agree that most people just look at the home page and that you might want to add content there.
Nice design - need tons more content though - looks sparse, and if I was a directory editor, I'd reject it simply because of that - content and quality is important for any directory.
No. You only have 4 original articles so far, and an awful lot of content that is simply links to other sources. And you have actual "coming soon" notices, a definite no-no. You should link to your own content from the homepage, not to other people's stuff. That way it is clear that you do have original content, and people don't have to go digging for it. If you add 8 more articles you will have 3 pieces for each of your main sections. Be patient. You'll get a far better acceptance rate if you just wait until you've actually written the content.
