Hello first I am not sure if I can do anything about this or not but am not happy.

I own a .com reviewing and selling clickbank products. Someone has purchased the .net (I know I should have got it but a newbie mistake) and they have copied everything onto their site. Same wordpress theme same contact - it looks exactly the same except they have changed the hop links.

Is there anything I can do about this lazy cheating moron?

I have his clickbank id and have sent an email to clickbank.
I called my hosting company - Godaddy and they said there is nothing they can do.

I have looked the .net owner up and have a name and hosting company.

Are they allowed to do this? If so why have I put so much work into creating a site that I love when I could have just got a .net and cloned a .com!

Sorry but I am still annoyed about this.

Please if anyone has any suggestions please help.

    thanks Kaz

    my site is http://newgameguides.com

the thief's site is http://newgameguides.net It even has my article ping backs on it.

Thanks for pointing me to that thread.

I have been following along and wanted to contact the host company as suggested. It looks like hosted by Yahoo so am now trying to find a phone number.
    thanks

What I would do is open cpanel or whatever your using and ip ban the guy. The people who visit the site can recognize that the pingbacks don't point the .net and usually when people want to go somewhere they type in .com first, so enjoy the backlinks from him.
