The are many places from where you can obtain such certification but believe me they don't help. The best to learn SEO is self-study and implementation too see the results.

The best certifications are skills and portofolio and past works

From my knowledge theres no such thing as SEO certification ...

 

I wouldn't give a second look at any seo certification - some experience/ qualifications in html, php etc will do you more good e.g. http://www.w3schools.com/cert/default.asp

 

I just need some real proof in my country, they are so fanatic with CERTIFICATES... I wanna start/work as SEO consultant and I believe I need some certification for it..

w3schools doesnt offer SEO certification...

 

You could go to SEMPrg. That would be the only place I would go to if I was a new.

 

To tell you the truth SEO is ever changing, what you learn today might now apply tomorrow. I think that the best SEO experts are self learned. It takes time, practice and a lot of reading and experimentation.

 

The best seo certification is top3 in google's serp with high ranked keywords.

Get the number 1 (or top 3) on Google for "C0mmission Search Engine 0ptimiser" or "c0mmission the best SEO" (changing 0's for o's) or the likes and you verify yourself!

Oh wait you can't or you would have to knock my results down a bit to do so first LOL!

Self certify is the way to go by performance, client certify is the way to go by testimonials, any other SEO certification is, as Bart Simpson would say, "PANTS"

 

Why do you want a cert? Not knocking the idea of an SEO cert, it is probably helpful in the industry and whatnot, but you should be able to prove your SEO skills on the internet and not on some test. Get a website to rank #1 for some good keywords, that would be much more impressive on a resume or job app than some certification

 

but u need a roadmap which lead you to someself if ur self studying then its is like ur standing in a place with diff roads n u dunno which one to use getting certification is not bad
