Auto following people on Twitter

Hi,

I have my website and I have a Twitter account setup so I decided to manually add people related to my niche however I decided to stop doing it because it took to much time which I could have spent on making my site better and I ended up with a timeline full of people I'm not interested in so I now only follow people I am interested in and get my followers from people who visit my site and see the "Follow us on Twitter" button.

However I came across some blog post on auto following people on Twitter using some software what do people think of this?

 

its not very good unless you can make sure its targeted users to your niche

 

I of course world make sure they are targeted but won't most people think I'm spamming?

 

I follow users at twitter MANUALLY.

 

I HATE auto follows! Hate. And I'm pretty sure I'm not alone in that.

 

no not really those that think that wont follow you but you will still get plenty of followers. even if only 50% of people follow you thats still better than none right ?

 

Hmm I might try auto following on an account I don't care about and if it works I will try it on my main one.

 

i was using auto follow system by twollo on one of my twitter accounts, i got like 800 followers till i found out 50 of them are real but the rest were bot and spammers

 

Ok, I decided to take the plunge and try it out, I have around 200 followers right now, I'm guessing most are spam bots but I will wait a week to decide how really good this method is.

 

Auto following system sucks crap you end up following so much spam your Dm's are filled wtih Spam what's the point if you want to follow back people follow back manually avoiding the spam.

Personal preference really - I like to be in control over who I am following!

 

90% of these auto followers are usually spams..

 

i made an auto following script for twitter, something simple, it could be more avanced, usually if you join someone with almost 1:1 ration between followers and following, you will usually get followed by that person too, without even sending a message.

 

I think you should try twollo but be cautious because they suspend accounts if they catch robot behavior.

I use a program called Pheonix Twitter Desktop. A friend told me about it, I don't have a link. My friend decided to follow 1200 people in 5 min. I told him his account would be banned, but he did it anyway. Sure enough it was banned.

I set mine to add 1 person every 15 seconds so it looks natural. That specific program allows me to search for users by keyword, so it's perfect.

I've been doing this everyday now and have about a 10-15% follow rate. Once I have 500 followers (which should take about 3 more days) I'll unfollow everyone and repeat the process.
