    Well it looks like I'm getting WINDOWS 7 then!

    Having quite a few problems with Vista... in terms of hogging CPU usuage and RAM for mundane tasks...

    Hopefully Windows 7 will solve this?

    Windows 7 + Windows Server 2008 setup as a workstation (see win2008workstation.com !) OMFG YES. Never going back to XP, Vista, Ubuntu, or OS X.

    For people on vista i think it was a great thing to move to windows 7. I noticed alot of fixes when i switched.

    I don't see why anyone would want to stay on XP. Not too long from now it will not even be supported anymore. Plus you're missing out on tons of new features that are light years ahead of XP.

    I only had some driver issues with a quadro video card. Other than that, Windows 7 is stable and I like the UI.

    I love window XP :D it loads faster at-least to me. I also install window 7 but have some problems :rolleyes: so again back to XP

    I don't get much of the hype about 7. If you just optimized Vista, it was a perfectly fine OS. In fact, I've only noticed some performance slowdown on 7. I guess its mainly good for people who don't really know much about computers. For me, its just a couple of new glossy features, although those features aren't bad at all.

    Im still using Windows XP. Will 7 work on a 1.6GHz system with a gig of memory?
