How to edit the title of your new thread here in DP?

    Hi guys,

Have you tried editing the title of your new thread here in DP? I was wondering what about if we noticed right after posting the new thread that there was something wrong with the title of that thread. For instance, there was a wrong spelled word.

Of course I do know that before posting any thread, we should double check it but just for the sake of knowing guys, please tell me.

Havent been on DP for a while but if the same windows still apply from my days, you should have had a chance to edit if you haven't posted this post. :p

There is a 30s window or something to quickly edit or double click the title and edit the title.

What about if you have posted it already? Actually, there's an "Edit Button", but only the body of your thread that can be edited. Correct me if I am wrong.

Yeah, click "edit post" and then "advanced" you should do so asap as you can only edit it for about an hour after, made for the exact reason why you want to know!

If the hour to edit your title has passed report the 1st post in your thread and put Title Change : 'Enter new title here' and if a mod has spare time he/she will edit it for you.

    Remember to ask nicely

Actually that's how I thought you edited the title of the thread. Via an edit of the first post. Therefore my answer of 8 hours.

So, as soon as you could notice that there was something wrong with the title of your new thread, then why not edit it right away. Anyway, thanks for the steps in doing so.

According to the FAQ I searched it. Asking Moderators to edit it does not work, so I would say your stuck if its after 8 hours.

Hence, we should double check it first before posting it. Take time to read it one more time. That's what I have learned after experiencing this.
